I will be departing on the Philippine Loop Adventure Tour today, December 18th, 2023. The bicycle tour is over 5,200kms long and travels across the Philippines.
I will be bicycling the entire Philippine Loop in two stages:
Stage 1:
Northern Luzon from December 18th (before Midnight 00:00) to January 5th, 2024 - 18 days (includes day offs).
Stage 2:
Central Luzon, Bicol, Sorsogon, Samar, Leyte, Surigao to General Santos to Dapitan, Negros, Panay, Mindoro, Batangas and Manila: Feb 5th to March 15th, 2024 - 40 days (includes day offs).
My personal goal is 60 days on my 60th Birthday. The route is over 5,200kms. This is an average of 88kms per day.
I will be passing out tracts, Gospel stickers, two Gospel booklets a day, prayer and preaching at certain junctions.
There are 14 mandatory Check-points I must pass through to complete the Philippine Loop requirements.
-Subic
-Alaminos
-2nd Highest Point in Atok, Benguet.
-Laoag
-Aparri
-Baler, Aurora Province.
-Tacloban City, Leyte
-General Santos
-Sorsogon to Samar Pier
-Southern Leyte to Surigao Pier
-Dapitan to Dumaguete Pier
-Negros to Iloilo Pier
-Aklan to Mindoro Pier
-Mindoro to Batangas Pier
I must take at least 30 photos of the tour, and complete a photo album at the end of the event. Prizes will be given later. I am also required to post my information DAILY on the Official Philippine Loop Adventure Tour fb Page.
