Day 3 of 7: Malaysia Trip
Kuala Selangor to Banting
83kms đ´ââď¸đ˛đž
Seemed like I went father than 83 today, but stopped in bigger city with more services.
Bought three spare tire tubes today. No flats today. It's a miracle!
Followed Hwy 5 all day. Sometimes, often, there is no shoulder, but cars are respectful and disciplined. I have had NO unruly autos so far.đ
Highways, and intersections are consistent. Their lanes are predictable, and I am getting comfortable with the "left side lane" driving quickly. đ§đ
The red lights are long here. Seems like forever waiting. Only few motorcycles, jump the green light đľđđŚ
The highways have been flat for three days. The ONLY elevation gains have been the man-made eight bridges and flyovers! đđ
Talked to Bangladesh guy working at gas station. He wants to go to USA. Needs to do his application first âď¸
I met over five waiters from India during lunch. Hard to understand their accent. They were watching my YouTube rather than working! âśď¸
Only four channels on TV -boring: a soap opera, food, news, and Islamic something. Off. đş
Not many people out walking around. Everyone is working. Passed by so many factories, industrial complex, new construction, digging, development. Huge hardware industry and manufacturing. Looks like prosperity to me.đˇđľ
I passed huge African palm oil company and plantations. đ´đŞ
I do not see taxis, public transport (few buses), and no motor cycle taxis. Seems like everyone has their own car or motor. đľđđđđ
Police cars are cool (classy) here in Malaysia. Had one checkpoint. Even the uniforms are sharp đ đđŽââď¸đŽââď¸
People really mind their own business here. Not so curious. Not staring.
Four more days to finish line in Singapore. I still have 382kms to go. đđ¸đŹ
